§ 58-102. Notice procedures

  • (a) The town commission and the planning and zoning committee shall set a permanent date, time and place for all regular meetings and will then publish this information in the Northwest Florida Daily Newspaper. After one such published notice, there shall be no further requirement for paid advertisement of regular meetings, unless the date, place or time of the regular meeting is changed in which event the new regular meeting date, place and time will be similarly published.

    (b) Notice of all such public meetings and workshops will be posted on the town bulletin board at Town Hall and the town marquee at least five working days prior to said public meetings and workshops.

    (c) Special meetings may be called under emergency circumstances as determined by the commission or the committee, where applicable, and notice of such meetings shall be given as will give reasonable public notice of the meeting.
